And I have lost 8 pounds!! :) I weighed 158 when starting again :(, but I weighed myself today at 150! Going to be back in the 140s in no time. Really think I can get down to 120 by August :) Next summer I hope to be 115 and maybe even a bit toned? Who knows. But I am very proud of the progress I have made in the past 1.5 weeks!
I get down because I gained a bunch of my lost weight back, but I have to remind myself that I am still further from where I started. I have moved ahead and fallen behind back and forth since two summers ago, but this time I am more determined than ever, especially since I know I have always reminded myself that I am still proud of the small steps I have taken.
Also- that shirt is now baggy on me! :)
I didn’t do the workout for Day 3 because I spent all day getting and setting up a chin up bar (which I still have to mount to the wall), which I thought I needed for the workout for today, and I just found out I didn’t need it till Thursday’s workout …. -_-
That, along with spending half my day sick, wasted the potential productive time of my day away.
So it is now 2am and I have work within hours and the chin up bar that I actually didn’t need today isn’t even up yet. So I have to get sleep before work, I decided I will come home and do today’s workout with tomorrow’s Yoga workout for P90x. So my day 3 and 4 will now be combined. This is definitely a one time thing, because 3 of the videos in one day is so not ideal. Also- I will be jogging the track tomorrow :)
My plans for the week (fitness-wise):
*After work tomorrow (Wed) I will do Day 3 and 4 of P90x and jog the track, maybe fit in some sports if I can.
*Thursday - P90x Day 5, 1.5hr at the gym, and 1hr yoga class, and again sports if I can fit it in.
*Friday - After work P90x Day 6, 1.5-2hrs at the gym, sports.
*Saturday - P90x Day 7 Rest Day/Stretch (Woo! first week will be complete), sports, jog track.
*Sunday - P90x Day 8, 1.5-2hrs at the gym, sports.
I keep feeling guilty for not doing it tonight, but I am going to sleep now because I have work. But I will redeem myself tomorrow for this. I mean … I’m still doing a lot and I’m eating super healthy compared to my usual crappy eating. Just gotta start eating and drinking more throughout the day.
Any advice is always welcome. Sorry for the long post. Has anyone else ever had to combine two workout days for p90x or anything for missing a day?
Wow. Plyometrics… I hate you. I cannot handle jumping exercises lol. I am sticking with it though!
Finally on track. I gained almost all my weight back that I lost last summer :( Feel like I failed a bit but it makes me more determined to succeed this time and stay on track! So now I’m going to try to get ahead and I’m staying ahead! I am more determined after seeing that I can actually do this. I just have to stay dedicated!!
Me in new outfits and stuff. New pants, new shirt and shoes :) I may have gained some weight back but I still have a shred of confidence.
—I’m going to treat myself and get a new bikini. Hopefully I’ll be bikini ready! :) By the way… 30 day shred it is! Thanks for the suggestions, I think p90x will be my summer goal then :) Love my followers
I am trying to decide on which program to get started on. I have done the 30 day shred workout before and it really helped to keep me motivated. I am still in school right now- for another two months, and I am having a hard time balancing school and my health goals. But I want to see great results within 5 months, so I really need to get back into it. P90x is something I’ve wanted to do for a while, but I am stillll intimidated by it. I will be working out at the gym as well 3 days a week while I’m in school, so I really am not sure what to do. Anyone?
-Lose 20 pounds
-Have firmer arms
-Lose the belly pooch!
-Have firmer butt
-Be more confident in a bikini
My first goal weight is 130lbs, and I am 10lbs away from that. But I hope to get to my second goal weight of 120 by the end of June. I hope I can do it! :)
Ignore the mess in the background. Trying to pull off the high-waisted skirt :)
