// So my chin up bar failed. //

I couldn’t do anymore of the chin up/pull up workouts on the legs and back p90x workout yesterday because my apartment doors are not strong/thick enough to hold them on safely. So now I have to find a different way to do the chin ups because I would rather do those than get a resistance band to continue. Ugh :(

// I feel stuck//

I’m now on Day 12 of p90x (yay me), and I feel like this week has been slow for me. I’ve been doing my workouts and even went to the gym once so far and jogged the track twice and I haven’t been losing any weight. I’ve even gone up between 2-4lbs since the lowest weight so far. Am I expecting too much? I feel like I’ve been eating well and I only drink water, tea and the occasional chocolate milk. I don’t know…. Does anyone have any advice?

// Progress!//

I took a photo yesterday of my backside to compare it to the beginning of my journey. And whoa! :) I am so proud of the progress I have made on my bum. Those squats are definitely helping. Nowhere near finished obviously but I am so glad I took an updated pic. I don’t think I’m going to post it on here, but I wanted to be able to celebrate this :)

// My legs are so sore!//

I went to the gym for about an hour- lots of squats, took a 30min- mostly uphill- walk, and did p90x plyometrics yesterday… Feeling it now lol

// P90x or 30 day shred?//

I am trying to decide on which program to get started on. I have done the 30 day shred workout before and it really helped to keep me motivated. I am still in school right now- for another two months, and I am having a hard time balancing school and my health goals. But I want to see great results within 5 months, so I really need to get back into it. P90x is something I’ve wanted to do for a while, but I am stillll intimidated by it. I will be working out at the gym as well 3 days a week while I’m in school, so I really am not sure what to do. Anyone?

// My day.//

Had my personal training session today- finally. Weighed in and all. Had an intense workout. And I feel great about the progress I will continue to make :)

New Nike Pro shorts :) Figured I need some workout shorts for running and stuff since I only have pants. :)

// Today is going to be a work out at home day for me.//

I am going to:

-Do the 30 day shred

-Do either one of the p90x workout videos, or insanity to kind of test myself on it

-Do an online yoga video

-And then later tonight I will be going for a run

I was trying to decide whether I should go to the gym again today, but since I have errands to run and stuff to do I think I will do these then shower and go out. Yep…. Oh oh oh…and I’m going to go buy a pomegranate and try it… never have really so going to today.

// Back into it I swear.//

I started level 3 of the 30 day shred over. I ended stopping half way through level three a couple of weeks ago before I went out of town. So I am starting the 10 days of level three over again. It was pretty tough today since I haven’t been doing too much lately. I played tennis and did the 30 day shred. I am determined to keep going- last year I gave up and I regret it. No regrets this time. Gym tomorrow, and going to bed now because I need to start waking up earlier. And thank you everyone who has been supportive on tumblr. You guys are awesome!

// What I actually did today://

-Ate breakfast

-Hung out with my brother

-Ate lunch

-Played tennis

-Went out to the gym just to find out and remember it was closed

-Came back home, then went back out 

-Came back home again and ate a snack

-Made and ate supper (tried mashed cauliflower, but I am pretty sure I made it wrong because it was wayyyy tooooo creamy..)

-Played the Zuma fitness kinect demo

-Did the 30 day shred workout (Day 12- level 2): side note to this- I cannot believe how difficult this is. I literally drip with sweat and struggle through this level, veryyy nervous for level 3

-Showered

-Read

And nowwww I am going to sleep… :) Pretty upset I didn’t get to the gym, and missed my bootcamp class there today :( but tomorrow I will most definitely be going to the gym, and I will run the errands I have been procrastinating on!

// Today…//

So what I did today was actually this:

-Ate breakfast

-Went to the gym for 1 hour

-Ate lunch (did actually have my spinach smoothie- which was surprisingly great)

-Played tennis for 40 mins 

-Did the 30 day shred, first day on level 2 (and OMG… I basically died)

What I will now be doing:

-Go to the grocery store, then make supper

-Do 1 hour of at home workouts found online

-Shower (which will feel great)

-Annnd watch a movie with a snack

And I may read some more of my book later on. I need to eat more often -_- ugh. But anyways- I am pretttttty proud of myself for my effort and dedication today!
